The history of LV11 is the history of Santiago del Estero itself. During fivedecades the struggles for water, for better living conditions in therural communities, due to the validity of human rights, hasreferenced a way of doing radio, an unrestricted commitment in the social,from the field of a communication medium. The free services thatcurrently provides the station and its presence establishing bridges between thecommunities, constituting in some cases as the only alternative forcommunicate to people, make this radio an irreplaceable medium in thesociety that houses it and that has adopted it with name and surname: “LV11 laRadio of the Santiagueños ”. Currently integrates the network in Argentina of the PactWorld Organization of the United Nations.
